Sky Up Academy Celebration of Storytelling
From classroom concepts to center stage, students pitched, presented, and wowed us all at Sky Osterley HQ in a celebration of creativity, growth and storytelling.
Closing out Sky Up Academy Studios Elstree's first academic year, students from 4 schools were invited to celebrate their creativity and storytelling skills.
Lights, Camera, Confidence!
Students began the day with interactive workshops focused on building confidence and presentation skills, helping them develop their voice and presence.
They then enjoyed guided tours of Sky Central in Osterley, where they got a behind-the-scenes look at the world of media and broadcasting, offering valuable insight into a professional creative environment.
Presenting their Film Pitch Ideas!
In the afternoon, the spotlight turned to the students as they confidently took to the stage to present their original film pitch ideas to a panel of judges. It was inspiring to witness so many young people speak with passion, clarity, and creativity, showcasing not only their ideas but their growth and confidence. Four groups presented, each receiving well-deserved recognition for their efforts.
Congratulations to Edgbarrow School, who were awarded the top prize for their imaginative concept, The Parallel Ride.
