What Is It?
Bananas. Monsters. Movie magic. šš¬
To celebrate Minions & Monsters, Sky Up Academy is inviting young creatives aged 8ā18 to unleash their imagination and design an original digital poster inspired by the wild, wonderful world of the Minions.
Set in Old Hollywood, this fun and creative competition challenges students to think like movieāmakers: pitching a monster movie, capturing chaotic mayhem, or showing how teamwork saves the day: all through bold design and visual storytelling.
This is about big ideas, brilliant creativity and a little bit of Minion mischief. Whether itās funny, dramatic or gloriously chaotic, we want to see how you bring Minions & Monsters to life!
The winning poster entry and their class will have the opportunity to visit Sky Up Academy Studios Elstree, our immersive experience, a state-of-the-art XR studios.
We also have some fantastic prizes up for grabs too!Ā
What To Do?
To get started, download our Introduction Video and Teacher Guide, which helps set the scene of Minions & Monsters and tells you how to take part in the poster competition
To create your poster, download the Student Template and Minions Toolkit. You have the option to create your poster either digitally or using our design template to sketch your poster out by hand.
Closing Date
You have until Wednesday 30th October 2024 to submit your poster entry for a chance to win a number of amazing prizes including an unforgettable experience at Sky Up Academy Studios at Elstree.
